Week 68: The underground city of Catania

Hey everyone! So it's gonna be short email this week because I am with a bunch of other sisters, everyone is here for zone conference which is tomorrow. But there are a lot of pictures to make up for it.

We started teaching Ann and her husband David, and it went really well. We also started teaching a referral from the anziani, her name is Gabriella. She wants to know everything there is to know about the church and the gospel. We are also teaching a girl from the navy base at Sigonella, she is super cute and we taught her about some of the commandments with the senior couple there as the military relations missionaries. It was a really solid week of work and stuff :)

Here are the pictures! And sorry for the lame letter, I am really tired and hungry....cioe brain isn't functioning.

Love you!!

Two month to go packet...

A beautiful tour of the city of Catania. Oh! That's where the name of the email comes from.
We got a personal tour of the city from one of our English course students, Rossella. She taught us that because mt. Etna has exploded so many times over the years, the ancient things in the city would get covered and they would rebuild. So there is an oval amphitheater just smaller than the colosseum and a river UNDER the city. How cool is that?
The amphitheater
The river where it is visible in piazza dell'elefante
